Your Opportunity:
Join us in a pivotal role where you’ll oversee the distillery operations, maturation, and blending of Bacardi Rums. Your responsibilities will extend to the development of new brands tailored for the Indian market. This position offers a unique chance to collaborate with Bacardi’s esteemed global liquid blending teams.
About You:
As the Senior Executive in this role, your primary responsibility is to ensure the flawless operation of the distillery and blending processes, aligning with Bacardi’s rigorous standards. Your keen attention to detail, exceptional prioritization skills, and adeptness at managing timelines will be critical. Your profound knowledge of blending and mixing processes will contribute to maintaining blend quality and implementing process enhancements.
Responsibilities:
Your Key Focus Will Be:
- Coordinating and executing the production plan to achieve optimal line efficiency and yield.
- Ensuring Bacardi’s quality standards are met and implementing systems for quality improvement and waste reduction.
- Cultivating a safety-first culture by identifying and monitoring potential workplace hazards, continually seeking improvement.
- Leading day-to-day production and maintenance activities at the plant.
- Fostering a culture of Manufacturing Excellence and continual improvement while upholding standard GMP and HACCP requirements.
- Hands-on experience with 5S, Lean Sigma, and Manufacturing Excellence.
Skills and Experience:
The Skills and Experience Needed:
- Industry exposure related to the bottling of alcoholic beverages and adherence to State Excise Laws.
- Effective production planning and execution to ensure timely delivery of goods in coordination with stores, blending, and logistics.
- Monitoring and continuous improvement of plant KPIs, wastage analysis, and control.
- Efficient management of the workforce, ensuring maximum utilization and support for automation.
- Knowledge of plant and utility maintenance, 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Six Sigma desirable to achieve minimal BD and wastage.
- Preferably a BE Mechanical graduate with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Production and Maintenance of bottling lines in the beverage industry.
