Organizational Structure: Directly reports to the respective Plant A.M Quality
Job Objective: Responsible for strengthening food safety and quality management systems, ensuring consistent product quality through timely testing and overseeing all Quality Control (Q.C) activities at the plant.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing, monitoring, and review of Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), Work in Progress (WIP), and Finished Goods (FG) quality in compliance with specifications.
- Provide regular feedback to RM/PM procurement team on receipt quality.
- Report and maintain daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual analyses of RM/PM/FG and WIP.
- Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation.
- Standardize documentation for quality checks, control records digitally, and in document form for consistent review and analysis.
- Monthly analysis of materials in the 3P warehouse.
- Sample and analyze by-products before dispatch.
- Calibrate lab instruments, plant scales, and document.
- Conduct aging sampling and testing of RM and FG in the Plant/Silo/company warehouse and 3P warehouse.
- Inform QA team for fumigation based on Aging sample report and inspect product effectiveness post-fumigation.
- Maintain audit documents, ensure compliance, and assist QA Technician during audits.
- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) as per ISO-17043 and achieve a minimum of 60% GLP audit.
- Perform miscellaneous activities and tasks as needed, adhering to ETG code of conduct.
Academic Qualification: Diploma in Food Technology
Work Experience: 2-3 years of experience
Functional Responsibility:
- Understanding of food safety laws, Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), and expertise in food safety-based standards such as HACCP/ISO 22000, GFSI standards.
- Understanding and sound knowledge of ISO17025.
- Industry-specific technical knowledge.
