Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and skilled NPD Chef to lead innovation in cake development. This role involves designing new recipes, improving existing formulations, and aligning product development with market trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and innovate new cake recipes and product concepts
- Conduct trials, testing, and refinement of formulations
- Manage production trials and scale-up processes
- Source and evaluate new ingredients
- Ensure product quality, safety, and consistency
- Collaborate with marketing and production teams
- Analyze market trends to drive product innovation
NPD Chef (New Product Development)
Qualifications
- Strong skills in baking, recipe development, and culinary innovation
- Knowledge of ingredient functionality, food safety, and quality control
- Experience in scaling recipes and optimizing processes
- Ability to research and understand market trends
- Good organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
- Experience in bakery or food manufacturing preferred
- Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts, Food Technology, or related field is a plus
