Job Summary:
Join our team at Jubilant Ingrevia Limited as an Assistant Manager in Production. In this role, you will play a vital part in producing products according to the plan devised by the plant manager, all while adhering to budgeted consumption norms for raw materials and utilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate proficiency in chemical engineering skills.
- Showcase execution, task management, and analytical skills.
- Exhibit excellent planning, controlling, and organizing abilities for shift-wise production.
- Analyze process conditions to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and maintain adherence to raw material and utility consumption norms.
- Prepare daily and monthly reports to document production details.
- Uphold environmental standards in operations.
- Prioritize safety and promote awareness among colleagues for accident-free operations.
- Collaborate on shutdown, maintenance planning, and preventive maintenance with the engineering team.
- Skillfully troubleshoot plant issues.
- Liaise with various department heads to enhance planning and coordination.
- Provide training to production chemists to foster development and capacity building.
Qualification & Experience:
- B.E/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
- 5-8 years of experience in continuous chemical processes.
Key Competencies:
- Proficiency in continuous chemical processes.
- Familiarity with preparing SOPs and Work Instructions for the relevant area.
- Strong commitment to quality and safety norms.
- Experience in managing manpower.
- Exposure to World Class Manufacturing (WCM) activities and concepts of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) / Total Quality Management (TQM).
