Job Purpose:
As a QA QC Specialist at Swiggy, you’ll be responsible for ensuring Supplier Quality Assurance and Quality Assurance/Food Safety for our PODs/Kitchens operations. Your role involves verifying systems to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications.

Areas of Responsibility:

  1. Strategy and Development:
  • Contribute to creating and implementing best practice quality practices.
  • Design Kitchen Assessments and Process/SOP/Training.
  • Contribute to new business initiatives and projects.
  1. General and Task Management:
  • Lead supplier development strategy and design metrics for supplier performance.
  • Conduct supplier validation audits and support new product launches.
  • Review supplier quality data for process improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on supplier product quality.
  1. Quality, Health Safety & Environment:
  • Develop schedules for periodic audit processes.
  • Plan and coordinate monthly QHSE audits across all kitchens.
  • Drive implementation of GMP, HACCP, and QHSE requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety controls and drive food safety certification process.
  1. Stakeholder Management:
  • Review ongoing performance of QHSE/Supplier Quality Assurance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams for product development.

Education Qualification:

  • Graduate/Post-graduate in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology

Additional Certifications:

  • BRC, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, ISO 45000, ISO 14000

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the Food industry, specifically in FMCG, E-commerce, and Retail.
  • Worked in large-scale FMCG/Retail/E-commerce.

Technical Competencies:

  • Implemented FSMS system in Kitchen operations.
  • Certified lead auditor on BRC/FSSC 22000/ISO 22000/HACCP.
  • Expertise in Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.
  • Awareness of Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Systems.
