Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Research & Development Innovation Manager to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will leverage your creative abilities and research expertise to enhance existing products in line with industry trends and create new products tailored to our target market’s needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement product creations and applications based on customer opportunity briefs.
  • Manage cost optimization, raw material rationalization, and process optimization for both new and existing products.
  • Drive innovation efforts and collaborate with the marketing team for successful product launches.
  • Adapt global product recipes to meet local market demands at target price points.
  • Provide technical insights to the sales team, addressing processing know-how and customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with customers to deliver processing technical solutions tailored to their infrastructure and capabilities.
  • Exhibit expertise in diverse industries, including Snack & Protein Processing, QSR (Quick Service Restaurants), and HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Catering).
  • Conduct comprehensive shelf-life studies and declare product shelf-life.
  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge in handling both protein and non-protein-based frozen product solutions, such as marinades, flour-based coatings, sausage premixes, functional meat solutions, and cold cut meats.
  • Possess knowhow of Bakery & Pizza Ingredient solutions for the B2B and QSR markets.
  • Stay informed about market trends and developments in seasonings, marinades, flour-based coatings, breadcrumbs, and related categories.
  • Exhibit sound knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, equipment, and local regulations in the category.

Qualifications:

  • M Tech/MSc in Food Technology
  • 10-12 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in understanding market trends and applications of protein and non-protein-based frozen products, seasonings, coatings, marinades, crumbs, and frozen snacks.
  • Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, equipment, and FSSAI regulations in the category.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across various functions.
