  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Technology, Material Science, Packaging, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 4-5 years of operational experience in Packaging development in the FMCG industry.

Position Summary
As the Packaging & Sustainability Manager at Nestlé’s Sheikhupura factory, you will be responsible for executing Packaging-related projects and initiatives in alignment with corporate packaging policies. This role emphasizes the importance of maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards. Furthermore, you’ll play a key role in implementing Nestlé’s Sustainability agenda in the market, aligned with the Zone’s strategy and direction.

A DAY IN THE LIFE…

  • Spearhead the development of packaging solutions for new products and their introduction.
  • Focus on optimizing existing packaging through value analysis and identifying cost-saving opportunities, including source reduction.
  • Act as the guardian of packaging quality leaving the factory lines.
  • Ensure compliance with packaging-related quality and safety directives.
  • Lead the charge in implementing the Global Packaging Sustainability Roadmap within the market, overseeing sustainability governance.
  • Analyze consumer complaints related to packaging and propose and implement corrective actions.

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Technology, Material Science, Packaging, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 4-5 years of operational experience in Packaging development within the FMCG industry.
  • Exposure to Quality Assurance protocols is a plus.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Proficiency in supplier and converter auditing.
  • A problem-solving approach to challenges.
