Position: General Manager – Dairy Engineering

Responsibilities:
- Develop technical specifications for dairy plant machinery, create tender documents, and oversee procurement processes.
- Ensure the successful installation of new machinery and take overall responsibility for the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment in dairy plants and service units.
- Estimate project budgets and scopes, maintaining production and quality metrics, and providing regular status reports.
- Execute and monitor all project activities, participating in performance meetings and discussions.
- Collaborate with vendors for machinery/equipment procurement, identify suitable vendors, and finalize annual maintenance agreements.
- Evaluate the overall performance, cost-effectiveness, reliability, and safety of final products.
- Generate initial design concepts and make necessary modifications to meet requirements and eliminate malfunctions.
- Prepare project reports consider ing product processing/manufacturing requirements, planning, and design.
- Allocate appropriate resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate functional meetings with project-related personnel and provide technical support to the plant team as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and arrange necessary training for project-related personnel.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech) in Dairy Technology/Dairy Engineering with a minimum of 20 years of proven experience.
- Extensive experience in the Dairy Industry will be highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in team management.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
