Job Title: Quality Assurance Assistant Manager

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Food Technology or a Master’s degree in Food Science/Chemistry
  • Experience:
  • 7-10+ years of FMCG industry experience, specifically in Biscuit, Cake, Bakery, or Food Manufacturing.
  • Proven track record in handling consumer complaints and direct consumer interactions.

Key Competencies:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel and spreadsheet analysis is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze quality trends, proactively identify potential quality issues, and implement preventive measures.
  • Provide valuable support to the quality team during vendor quality audits as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to testing frequencies and sample sizes per the quality manual. Verify test results against specified limits and promptly report exceptions or violations to the quality manager.
  • Supervise the effective implementation of quality initiatives, such as quality walls and defective quality inspections. Identify corrective actions and ensure agreed-upon measures are put into practice.
  • Actively participate in central quality audits and respond to audit observations by collaboratively addressing findings, establishing corrective action plans, and confirming their implementation.
  • Thoroughly review quality complaints and FBC complaints, conducting rigorous root cause analyses and implementing agreed-upon corrective actions.
  • Maintain consistent hygiene standards within the plant and take immediate action or escalate issues when non-compliance with standards is observed.
