Technical Executive/Senior Executive

Summary:
In this role at Hershey India, you will be responsible for overseeing production schedules, ensuring the efficient execution of production plans, monitoring inventory levels, and optimizing overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) to meet production targets while maintaining safety, quality, and compliance standards at the Mandideep plant.

Major Responsibilities:
Production Planning and Execution

Collaborate with Line leads and communicate production plans during shift handoff meetings with Operators.

Efficiently execute production plans while prioritizing safety, quality, and compliance.

Ensure adherence to recipes and plan for raw material/product material availability in shifts.

Schedule manpower and provide coaching to the team as needed.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and uphold Hershey Leader Standards.

Collaborate with the team to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Support line-centric teams in achieving business unit goals.

Implement CIL Daily Management Systems for the BU.

Production Review

Participate in Shift Handoff DDS and drive all 6 Daily management systems.

Review the production performance of past shifts for both HIPL and 3P.

Monitor and ensure the achievement of monthly production schedules for HIPL and 3P.

Comply with Hershey Policies and drive defect reduction to promote continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery.

Meet Site KPIs, MIP KPIs, and CBN KPIs.

Report daily OEE, breakdown details, and RM/PM losses during shifts.

Analyze efficiency metrics such as asset utilization, plant productivity, and machine downtime.

Track the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.

Provide relevant production data and reports to other teams.

Innovation & Cross Functional Projects and Audit Support

Support Hershey Lean pillar progression and facilitate change management.

Undertake Six Sigma Yellow Belt/Green Belt projects to improve shop floor processes.

Coordinate with R&D, plant teams, and procurement to support innovation projects for HIPL and 3P development.

Maintain data accuracy in Continuous Improvement (CI) projects in Oxygen.

Support all audits by providing necessary documents to government authorities.

Commit to continuous growth under the supervision of the BU Lead.

Minimum Requirements:
Education:
B.Tech in Dairy or Food Technology with Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification or an MBA in Lean Manufacturing.

Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in FMCG, technical, or manufacturing roles.

Skills and Knowledge:
Knowledge of FMCG business and financial perspective.

Understanding of Soy Milk Extraction, Homogenization, and Sterilization processes.

Familiarity with Tetra Pak Aseptic Filling operations and bottling plants.

Expertise in manufacturing management.

Knowledge of QMS, FSMS, OHSAS, and ISO 18001.

Proficiency in effective order management.

Audit control knowledge.

Skills in using Power BI, Tableau, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Project, and Minitab.

Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills.

Strong leadership and teamwork collaboration skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with various functions across the organization.

Experience in planning, priority setting, and effective execution.
