Qualifications:- Foodtech or Dairytech, preference for those who have done MBA


Salary:- CTC – 7 lakhs to 12 lakhs INR per month, depending upon previous experience

Location:- Nepal

Experience:- 3-4 years in an ingredient business development role

Role Description :-
Job Purpose :-
To maximize the sales of the company with excellent customer service within the existing customers and getting the new leads for the growth.

Regional sales manager oversees the overall sales objectives, goals and revenue of all the
teams and sales personnel they supervise. They may also manage other regional or division
managers across the country. They often travel to manage their various teams and attend
conferences to learn new sales methods.

Primary Responsibilities :-
Sales Management:-
Developing weekly/monthly/annual and seasonal sales targets for the department.

Handling products with applications in Dairy & lce cream / Beverage / Confectionery
/Savoury / Snacks / Seasonings/ Distilleries Applied health & Nutrition / Pharma.

Prospecting new customers and converting into profitable business.

Mapping customer’s requirement and providing them customized product concepts through
new market products, technical presentations and application samples by liaising with major
internal teams.

Conduct trials at clients factory along with internal technical team and ensure smooth transition of flavours /technology solutions from lab to market.

Building strong relationships with the external partners and consumers and regular
interactions with them by attending sales workshops, seminars and hosting events, hosting sales events for the business product, playing an active role in industry organizations and so

Ensure the successful achievement of the company’s sales goals across all its regions

Oversee company’s sales performance at regional levels

Ensure sales volume is at its maximum, maintaining product mix, and selling price

Keep current with demand and supply of company’s products/services, economic indicators, changing trends and its competitors

Development of new markets and new product sales.

Sales Productivity performance indicators: Pipeline Strength, Target Delivered, Hit Rate, Cycle Time, Customer Churn, and Revenue

Generate new accounts & handle existing accounts as per the requirement.

Resolving key client issues and complaints.

Build relationships with key executives at these accounts, define and develop suitable account strategies for growth and customer satisfaction and fosters voice of customer feedback, etc.

Engage with the account/s in close coordination with internal departments/customers/partner

Develop and maintain strong pipeline in terms of developments in these accounts

Ensure successful delivery of services in close coordination with departments and project teams

Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements. Prepare Rosters and manage the headcount on floor. Ensure the correct reporting is done in a timely manner Serve as the link of communication between Clients and internal team Handled Large Enterprise Acc

Intelligence / Competition knowledge:-
Participate in market strategy building by providing useful information from sales activities

Monitor cost in relation to prevailing competition, and if necessary, adjust the price of selling

Development of a Customer Universe File which will include potential along with existing customers data for further sale process.

Process Implementation & Adherence:-
Will have a team of 10 people spread across all Nepal.

Direct reporting to CEO.

Develop effective sales strategy and ensure its timely implementation

Schedule occasional meeting with area sales managers/senior sales officers

Track, review and drive category-wise growths and market shares in assigned accounts

Execution of new launches as per aligned launch goals including, listing, visibility, revenue, and market share.

Reporting of key metrics in a timely manner to internal management to always ensure clear visibility of Key accounts progress and strategy.

Provide timely report to respective salesperson/manager on opportunities, projects, competition etc.

Working with product development teams to manage new product development.

Knowledge Sharing:-
Recruit and train sales employees for effective delivery

Conduct workshop amongst salespersons for the sales process, knowledge on products

Must have: 2-3 years of Industrial Sales Experience as a Key Accounts

Analytical frame of mind & a go-getter attitude
