Position :- Quality Assurance Executive

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Executive to oversee the day-to-day operations at our Mandideep plant in Bhopal. This role is pivotal in maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process Quality Control:
  • Conduct periodic inspections and analysis of beverages, fruit drinks, juices, soymilks, ketchups, instant tea & coffee premixes
  • Analyze online blend samples and finished products for physicochemical and sensory parameters.
  • Perform checks on finished goods during packing operations.
  • Monitor and analyze the water treatment plant.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Handle customer complaints analysis, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Report non-conformances promptly and lead the resolution process.
  • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in blending and packing operations.
  1. Routine Audits:
  • Conduct weekly and monthly audits such as PHC, GMP, Super six, etc.
  • Oversee internal audits for the Mandideep plant, including global and internal system audits.
  • Review audit documentation and manage risks related to quality.
  1. Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs for the plant and guide the team in capability building.
  • Conduct internal training sessions as per schedules.
  • Plan and execute regular training sessions on quality parameters and guidelines.
  • Measure training effectiveness.
  1. Process Improvements:
  • Stay updated with industry best practices in quality assurance and testing.
  • Periodically review operations for opportunities to enhance practices and reduce customer complaints.
  • Present improvement opportunities to the supervisor.
  • Assign approved initiatives to the team and track progress.
  1. Personal Capability Development:
  • Take ownership of personal training and development plans.
  • Work towards continuous growth under the supervision of the Quality and Regulatory Compliance (QRC) Head.

  • FSSAI & FSSC compliance
  • Audit non-compliance
  • Global quality food safety audit
  • PHC, Super six audit compliance
  • Reduction in customer complaints

Minimum Knowledge & Skills:

Knowledge:

  • Basic technology fundamentals knowledge.
  • Deep understanding of food safety and quality.
  • Familiarity with FMCG business and financial concepts.
  • Experience in Project Quality Assurance, Process Quality, Supplier Technical Assurance, Quality management system, and regulatory compliance.
  • Preferred experience in co-manufacturing handling.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in handling and calibrating analytical instruments.
  • Experience in chemical analysis of food and beverages.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Standards applicable to large-scale manufacturing and packing environments.
  • Exposure to FSSAI and industry-related regulations.
  • Proficiency in statistical tools and their applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sound administrative abilities and computer literacy.
  • Familiarity with the latest best practices in quality management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various functions within the organization.
  • Experience in managing internal teams and global clients.
  • Demonstrated change management and conflict resolution skills.

Education:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Food/Dairy Technology, Microbiology, or Chemistry.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Quality/Manufacturing functions within the food & beverage industry of good repute.
