About Hapup

Hapup is a fast growing health food startup based in Hyderabad. We make 100% natural and nutritionally diverse porridge mixes and millet snacks that contain no added sugar or salt, no chemical preservatives or artificial flavours.

Our mixes are made using the wisdom of traditional Indian recipes combined with the insight of modern food science. Hapup is incubated at the esteemed Indian Institute of Millet Research, Hyderabad and Indian Institute of Management- Bangalore, NSRCEL and has won a central government grant for our efforts in Agri-Entrepreneur

Designation: Food Technology & Management trainee

Experience: 1-2 years in consumer brands.

Salary: CTC Rs. 3-3.6 Lacs p.a. based on experience

Location: Hyderabad

Role:

To strengthen company’s product portfolio and operations to meet customer’s demands efficiently and effectively by planning, directing and implementing product strategies and streamlining operations.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

A. Product Development

• Build a portfolio of innovative products by understanding our consumers needs and gaps in the market

• Lead trials to formulate proprietary recipes and test for quality

• Conduct research into global markets to better understand the market

• Present data backed ideas to the management

• Identify relevant suppliers for product launch

• Packaging and Technological innovations

• Collect feedback from trial participants and analyze the results and plug that into the development cycle

• Implement quality control systems and maintenance at the production unit

• Conduct cost-benefit analysis to wholistically understand the product launch process

• Collaborate with industry partners to advance knowledge and build partnerships

B. Operations Streamlining

• Build SOPs based on GMP

• Train and upskill the processing team to optimize the production process

• Optimize existing processes to deliver better results

• Partner with farm team to implement new strategies

• Participating in annual audits

• Participate in cross-functional meetings to improve business processes

• Document processes and upgrades for training and control
