Responsibilities
Main Purpose:
- Lead the vertical startup of a green field plant ensuring high-quality product and fostering a culture of quality.
- Stabilize shift quality operations, focusing on KPIs like WIP, Leakages, and Zero Defects.
- Implement and maintain quality control systems/standards for processes and physical systems.
Quality Control Operations:
- Ensure the quality of potatoes issued for production meets standard specifications.
- Conduct regular checks on various factors and determine acceptance criteria.
- Perform quality tests like Cooks test, visual inspections, and Hunter Color Test.
- Monitor fryer oil utilization and conduct checks on oil quality.
- Adjust oil mix and ensure chips quality meets standards.
- Take corrective actions based on test results and provide feedback to operators.
Production Process Oversight:
- Monitor machines, ensure calibration, and maintain accurate reports.
- Conduct quality wall meetings with production and engineering personnel.
- Conduct weekly housekeeping audits and ensure adherence to statutory laws.
- Resolve customer complaints effectively and assist in action plan implementation.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in TPM projects for plant improvement.
