Job Summary:
As a Quality Control Coordinator at PepsiCo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety in our manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities include conducting rigorous checks on raw materials and packaging materials, monitoring compliance with quality standards, maintaining lab inventory, and collaborating with vendors and internal teams to uphold our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality checks on incoming raw materials and packaging materials to meet FLI quality standards.
  • Monitor and report non-compliance issues with service providers and take corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records for transparent communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular audits of raw material and packaging material stores to ensure proper storage conditions and compliance with FIFO/FEFO and Allergen guidelines.
  • Implement and uphold food safety policies to ensure the highest quality of received materials.
  • Set and enforce quality control systems and standards for vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure adherence to GMP, GHK, and lab safety protocols as per ASHA requirements, and participate in internal/external audits (HACCP, AIB, Personal Hygiene, Process audit) at the plant.
  • Drive ASHA compliance for the site and communicate effectively with vendors to analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure the receipt of high-quality raw materials and packaging materials in line with FLI standards.
  • Report deviations and discrepancies to vendors and follow up on corrective and preventive measures.
  • Maintain KC 13 related RMPM documents and ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate monthly AA samples and provide technical, quality, and food safety training to RMPM stores, 13pl, and lab staff.
  • Compile GSM data, exception reports, and RMPM Quality reports.
  • Ensure the calibration of lab equipment and other online measuring devices.
  • Conduct personnel hygiene checks for the plant and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc./B.Tech. in Food Technology.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the Food Manufacturing Industry, with a background in RM/PM quality checking.
  • Functional expertise in RM/PM testing, Food Safety Systems, QA Systems, GMP policy.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire trust and work effectively under pressure.
  • High level of integrity and excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and lead teams toward quality excellence.
