Key Responsibilities:

Manage and optimize machinery and equipment to ensure efficient production, with a focus on proper maintenance and troubleshooting when needed.
Lead, train, and develop a high-performing team of production personnel, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Production Manager in the food industry, preferably in peanut butter or a similar food manufacturing environment.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, demonstrating successful optimization of production operations.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control standards, and production management methodologies.
Exceptional leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Proficiency in analyzing production data, identifying trends, and implementing process improvements.
Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced production setting.

Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
BRC certification or other relevant quality certifications would be advantageous.
