Profile Summary:
The fodder development team of Animal Nutrition department is looking for a trainee for fodder production and conservation and Moringa seed production.
Key roles and Responsibility:
- Execution of fodder farm activities
- Development of moringa orchard for seed production
- Planning and execution of farm activities
- Management of labour and land developement.
Qualification & Experience:
Diploma in Agriculture or B.Sc. Agriculture from reputed institute.
Candidate having experience of working in a reputed fodder farm will have an added advantage.
Location: Itola, Gujarat
Other Essential attributes and skills
Through knowledge of agronomical practices of cultivated crops including fodder crops, grasses, trees etc. Knowledge of Fodder seed production, processing, treating, packing & testing; Farm equipments required for seed bed preparation, irrigation, harvesting and pick up devices; Computer application.
Management of fodder farm including procurement of inputs, labour management, data recording.
Working languages: Hindi, English & Gujarati
Remarks:
The traineeship position is for a period of one year.
