Job Description

Position: Senior Executive – Quality (Level 6B)

Qualifications:

  • Post Graduate or Graduate in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or DIFAT.
  • Lead auditor experience is preferred.

Experience:

  • 4-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Systems in Food Processing, FMCG, Distillery, Brewery, and Beverage Industry.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proficient in Quality Audits.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 22000, FSSC 22000), including the development of quality-related SOPs.
  • Hands-on experience in Water Treatment Plants (BWw, DMW, RAW) and overall operations.
  • Proficient in all Quality systems and their documentation and adherence.
  • Experience in handling quality improvement projects.
  • Sensory analysis expertise.
  • Experience in WTP operations and water balancing.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.

  • Demonstrates good communication and presentation skills.

Areas of Responsibilities:

Quality Operations

  • Analyze raw materials, Intermediate (Blends), EOL Finished Goods, and report findings to the unit head.
  • Inspect packaging materials received at Units and the Market, reporting to the unit quality head.
  • Communicate non-conformities to vendors and issue CARs to vendors.
  • Ensure online QC, including line start-up/change from water treatment to final packing.
  • Coordinate with other departments for all rejection failures at the unit.
  • Calibrate all lab equipment, establish calibration plans, and manage operations as per supplier manuals.
  • Responsible for equipment maintenance as per supplier recommendations.
  • Analyze samples received for customer/consumer complaints and provide reports to the unit head.
  • Provide expertise in standardizing chemical reagents and required lab calibrations.
  • Analyze non-conformities using tools and implement desirable CAPAs.
  • Assist the quality manager in audits of GRMS/GMP.
  • Work on improving End-of-Line defects (PPM).
  • Ensure liquid quality compliance.
  • Adhere to quality standards.
