Located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, you will work directly with the iconic Bombay Sweet Shop brand, known for its modern take on traditional mithai.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), good manufacturing practices (GMPs), HACCP programs, recall programs, allergen programs, and other food safety plans and quality systems.
- Conduct in-house testing of products and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensure daily compliance with all quality control procedures, taking prompt corrective actions when necessary.
- Guarantee regulatory compliance for New Product Development (NPD), including ingredient and label compliance.
- Organize and lead regular training sessions to emphasize our commitment to quality and food safety.
- Handle customer complaints and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Oversee pest control measures at all our locations and provide support to resolve any pest-related challenges.
- Conduct quality audits at various manufacturing locations, both internal and external.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, quality assurance, or a related field.
- Proficient knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Strong attention to detail and a dedication to maintaining high-quality products.
- Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality assurance role within the food industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
