Job Description
Position Summary:
As a Production Officer at Cargill, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of our shift personnel and oversee the proper maintenance of equipment following established protocols. Your role plays a crucial part in controlling the output of finished products in line with predefined requirements and production plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently plan, organize, coordinate, and manage the tasks and responsibilities of shift personnel.
Maintain strict adherence to production standards, specifications, and established guidelines.
Supervise and manage the inventory and accounting of raw materials.
Strive to achieve key performance indicators for the unit and implement activities aimed at improvement.
Develop and implement internal standards, procedures, training programs, and instructions in accordance with company requirements.
Handle complex administrative, technical, or customer support matters independently, escalating only the most challenging issues to the appropriate personnel.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma, secondary education level, or equivalent.
At least two years of relevant work experience.
Other minimum qualifications may apply.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of food safety, safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
