Vacancy (1) Dairy Project Engineer
Responsible for handling projects in conjunction with Project Manager from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, time, and cost, leveraging on internal and external resources. Working in a multi-project environment where the role adapts to the needs of each individual project.

Qualifications and Experience:

BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Food Science) or related field
Min. 5 years related experience in a manufacturing environment, filling, packaging and/or process engineering field.

Industrial project engineering or project management experience in the food, beverage, dairy or related industries is applicable and preferred.
Strong technical background and knowledge in related aspects of processing equipment used in manufacturing of dairy and non-dairy product.
Ability to read, understand & prepare process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) is a must
Above average skills in AutoCAD, MS Project, and advanced MS Office skills (proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
Experience in writing scope of work documentation, work breakdowns structures, scheduling and managing contractors on site.
General understanding of Automation control systems, (SCADA, PLC, HMI, VFD’s, etc.) and how they function.

Key Resp onsibilities:

Supports the Project Manager in developing project scope, project plans, cost estimates and execution plans. May be required to make technical and/or project presentations to internal management and stakeholders.

Responsible for supporting the Project Manager in generating schedules to accomplish the project/program milestones.
Development of engineering drawings, process flow diagrams, P&IDs, layouts, equipment specifications, BOMs and BOQs, etc.
Perform fieldwork necessary to gather data and site requirements needed to define the project deliverables and technical requirements.
Coordinate with supplier and execute the process to get competitive bids as needed for the development of equipment specifications, assess equipment proposals from suppliers and make recommendations. Plans and implements tasks such as test procedures and commissioning plans. Develops systematic approach to commissioning and site acceptance plans based on contractual requirements.
Act as a processing subject matter expert, providing guidance and expertise to plant operations, project managers and other functions as necessary
Leads proactive problem-solving efforts in troubleshooting and resolving process equipment issues, diagnoses technical problems and determines short-term and long-term solutions.
Mentor and develop less senior project engineers.
Study and define new projects as the need arises and perform other duties as assigned.
May simultaneously be assigned to act as Project Manager on small projects or sub projects.
