Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize efficiency.
- Ensure strict adherence to all food safety regulations and quality control procedures.
- Monitor production lines, identifying and resolving any issues promptly.
- Implement and oversee preventative maintenance programs for equipment and machinery.
- Manage inventory control of raw materials and finished products.
- Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, quality assurance, and sales, to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a production management role, preferably within the food industry.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and HACCP principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of production planning software preferred.
- Passion for food production and a commitment to quality and efficiency.
