Job Description:
Are you ready to take on the role of a Procurement Executive at K Ahuja Foods? We are in search of a dedicated individual to oversee the acquisition of vital raw materials crucial for our daily operations. Your responsibilities will encompass price analysis, quality assurance, and the maintenance of optimal stock levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify potential vendors, compare and assess offers from suppliers.
- Manage the procurement of raw materials, packing materials, and forecast future demand levels.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements, monitor orders, and ensure punctual deliveries.
- Scrutinize the quality of purchased products.
- Maintain updated records of purchased items, delivery details, and invoices.
- Spearhead the Purchase & Procurement process, involving tasks such as quotation collection, purchase requisitions, inquiry circulation, issuance of purchase orders, payment approval requests, and consistent follow-up for materials and invoices.
- Skillfully handle supplier relationships, negotiations regarding contracts, pricing, timelines, and more.
- Professionally and promptly manage product returns and rejections with suppliers.
- Travel to vendor sites for product inspections, sampling, and overseeing the loading of procured materials.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure the smooth flow of the procurement process.
Required Candidate Profile:
- A degree or master’s qualification with 1-2 years of experience in procurement, or freshers eager to commence their career.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi communication, as well as strong negotiation skills.
- A team-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel extensively (40-50% of the time) to various states in India.
- Immediate joining is preferred.
