Licious is on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Sourcing Manager for our Fish & Seafood division. If you have a passion for sourcing quality seafood, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing procurement processes, this role might be perfect for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop sourcing strategies for fish and seafood categories, identifying reliable suppliers and negotiating long-term contracts.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with local and international suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality, sustainability, and ethical standards.
- Procurement Management: Oversee procurement processes, including negotiations, volume planning, and inventory control while monitoring market trends to optimize decisions.
- Quality Control: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure products meet safety and quality standards, conducting regular supplier audits.
- Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality and managing procurement budgets efficiently.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, logistics, and sales teams to ensure smooth supply chain processes.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Fisheries.
- Proven experience in sourcing and procurement, specifically in the fish/seafood industry.
- Strong understanding of seafood market dynamics, quality standards, and sustainability practices.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
