What You’ll Do
- Oversee all activities in the field of EH&S including conducting job hazard analysis (JHA), holding monthly safety meetings, maintaining different compliance programs, and coordinating various safety trainings to reinforce the safety culture in the company.
- Maintain and manage EHS programs, policies, and procedures that comply with local rules and regulations.
- Generate assessment documentation, incident and accident reports, and health and safety manuals.
- Work collaboratively with different departments including production, warehouse, QA, and maintenance to ensure workplace safety.
- Develop safety policies, conduct safety audits and inspections (EHS), and implement new health and safety protocols and measures to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conduct annual refresher training for all employees in the areas of health, safety, ergonomics, and other required aspects.
- Develop a strong relationship with employees and facilitate employee-led behavior-based safety processes in a team-based environment.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement inall areas of safety and provide solutions andintervention strategies for hygiene, health, and safetyhazards.
