Position Summary:
As the FSQA Technologist, your leadership, communication, and analytical skills will be crucial in maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality assurance. Join us in our mission to deliver top-quality and safe products to our customers.
Position Responsibilities:
- Investigate customer and consumer complaints in collaboration with the plant management team.
- Manage the non-conformance system for ingredients and products.
- Maintain up-to-date quality and food safety documentation at the plant level.
- Monitor compliance with our Quality System through thorough record and form reviews.
- Conduct internal audits and inspections related to food safety and quality.
- Manage the master training file and provide training on quality and food safety programs.
- Plan and execute tests and controls, contributing to continuous improvement projects.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Food Quality Assurance, with knowledge of HACCP, GFSI (BRC), and Quality Systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including data analysis and report writing.
- Ability to train and mentor bakery staff.
- Familiarity with data analysis and the ability to recommend corrective actions.
