Job Description: Food Facility Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Food Facility Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our food production and processing facility.
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in managing food facilities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, optimizing operational efficiency, and leading a team of professionals.
Responsibilities :-

Facilityy Operations Management :-
Manage day-to-day operations of the food facility, including production, processing, packaging, and distribution.
Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure the highest level of efficiency, productivity, and quality control.
Monitor and evaluate production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations, quality standards, and sanitation protocols.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to conduct regular inspection s, audits, and reviews to maintain Compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Address and rectify any issues related to product quality or safety promptly.
Staff Leadership and Development :-
Lead a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and personal growth.
Delegate tasks effectively and manage workload distribution to ensure smooth operations.
Inventory and Supply Chain Management :-
Oversee inventory control, including tracking materials, ingredients, and finished products.
Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of required materials while optimizing costs.
Coordinate with logistics to manage distribution schedules and maintain efficient supply chain operations.
Equipment Maintenance and Upkeep :-
Manage maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
Coordinate with maintenance personnel to address breakdowns, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks.
Implement measures to extend equipment lifespan and reduce downtime.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
Develop and manage the facility’s budget, including forecasting expenses and revenue generation.
Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality and safety.
Monitor financial performance and make adjustments as needed to meet financial targets.
Software understanding :-
A brief understanding of the softwareslike the pos system.
Making sure all the employees are strictly following the system
Qualifications :-

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Business Management, or a related field. Masters degree will be prefered
Minimum of 6-7 years of progressive experience in food facility management.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially under pressure.
Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills fo effective collaboration across departments.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Demonstrated financial acumen in budgeting, cost analysis, and resource allocation.
