Job Description:

PepsiCo is looking for a Supply Chain Quality Control Coordinator to join our team in Kosi, Uttar Pradesh, India. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the quality and excellence of our products.
Responsibilities:
Main Purpose:
- Lead the vertical startup of a green field plant, focusing on product quality and fostering a culture of quality within the plant.
- Stabilize quality operations during shifts in the new green field plant.
- Ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Work in Progress (WIP), leakages, and zero customer complaints are met.
- Maintain the highest product quality and minimize customer complaints through rigorous online quality control checks and finished product inspections.
- Implement quality control systems and standards for processes, physical systems, and the environment.
- Troubleshoot during online production to minimize wastage and maintain quality.
- Responsible for maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Hygiene Practices (GHK), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and conducting internal and external audits (HACCP, AIB, Personal Hygiene, Process audit).
- Train and develop quality checkers.
- Ensure the quality of potatoes used in production meets standard specifications.
Scope:
- Conduct Cook Tests to check factors like undesirable color, internal defects, and greening percentage.
- Provide status reports to the Agro Department and determine the number of pickers required for specific lots.
- Make decisions on whether to accept or reject potato lots.
- Conduct regular Cook’s Tests for potatoes in long-term storage.
- Perform online quality checks during the production process to uphold PepsiCo quality standards.
- Conduct visual inspections and monitor machine parameters.
- Record and analyze various test results and take corrective actions.
- Communicate feedback and concerns promptly to relevant personnel.
- Ensure quality checkers perform regular checks and maintain reports.
- Lead quality wall meetings with production and engineering teams.
- Conduct housekeeping audits and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene practices.
- Handle hold materials to minimize wastage and report hold-up details to the quality manager.
- Ensure adherence to statutory laws (Weights and Measures & PFA).
- Resolve customer complaints effectively.
- Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
- Promote a work culture that fosters company growth.
Additional Information:
Qualifications:
- B.Tech in Food Technology.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with exposure to food safety systems and ISO systems.
- Preferably, knowledge of FSSAI, HACCP, AIB, and TPM.
