General Responsibilities of Quality Executive:
- Develop and maintain the food safety and quality management system of the organization.
- Ensure that all products comply with relevant food safety regulations and guidelines, such as Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Monitor and verify the effectiveness of the food safety and quality management system through regular internal audits and assessments.
- Investigate and resolve product quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformances in a timely and effective manner.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure that raw materials and ingredients meet quality and safety standards.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on food safety and quality management system requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in product development and process improvement activities to ensure that new products and processes meet food safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and sales, to identify and implement solutions to improve product quality and consistency.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of food safety regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends in food safety and quality management.
- Perform routine inspections of the facility, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
