Job Summary

The Senior Quality Control Engineer will ensure thatproducts are designed, built, and produced inaccordance with customer specifications and qualityrequirements.

Supervisory Responsibilities:-

May assist with hiring quality control engineers.

-Mentors and trains junior quality control engineers orpolicies and procedures.

-May assist with performance evaluations.

Duties/Responsibilities:-

Facilitates planning and development of qualitycontrol systems for specified products or processes.

Collaborates with teams of engineers and productspecialists to ensure customer and division qualityrequirements are met.

Reviews design, manufacturing, and testing documentation.

Coordinates and performs inspections of rawmaterials and finished products, applying appropriatequality assurance testing models.

-Offers technical guidance and support in response to quality testing and analysis.
-Ensures contract compliance by reviewing and approving quality requirements for supplier purchase orders, manufacturing, and other related services.

-Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

-Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn the company’s quality control system.

-Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
