The candidate will have a food technology or food science background and will be responsible for researching global consumer trends in the food industry, collecting market intelligence and also assistance in new product development.

The candidate must have a commercial acumen and must be proficient in written and spoken english.

Prior knowledge of the statutory requirements related to the food industry is a must
Responsibilities:

1)Lead R&D work for the new product development, Scale up new products from pilot trials to the commercial scale level

2) Qualitative and Quantitative analysis

3) Market research/ data collection and processing

4)Overlook the creation of a small setup to develop a wide product range

5)Validate product life cycle – product shelf-life process & accordingly recommend packaging standards for the same

Skills:
1) Expertise in chromatography and spectrophotometry concepts and techniques
2) Knowledge of food technological concepts and processes
