Are you passionate about food production and quality? Raheja Solar Food Processing is seeking a Food Production Executive to lead our solar dried products production team in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.
Job Description:
As a Food Production Executive, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire production process of our dried fruits and vegetables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Production Leadership: Lead and manage the complete production process, from the initial stages to final packaging.
- Production Scheduling: Develop and implement production schedules that align with customer demands and production goals.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations, quality standards, and hygiene practices throughout the production process.
- Efficiency Optimization: Monitor and optimize production workflows to enhance efficiency, minimize wastage, and maximize output.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with procurement teams to ensure a steady supply of raw materials and packaging resources.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized production records, including batch records, quality control reports, and inven tory levels.
- Quality Control: Coordinate with the quality assurance team to facilitate product testing, address quality issues, and maintain product excellence.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to dried food processing. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes, product quality, and operational efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in food technology, food science, or a related field. A master’s degree is considered a plus.
- 1-2 years of demonstrated experience in a production or manufacturing role within the food processing industry, with a preference for experience in dried food products. Freshers can also be considered for the role.
- Strong knowledge of food processing techniques, particularly in the field of drying fruits and vegetables.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality standards, such as HACCP and ISO.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills to effectively lead and motivate production staff.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-informed decisions even under pressure.
- Effective communication skills.
