About the Role:
Schreiber Foods is looking for a dedicated Production Team Advisor – Cheese to join their team in Baramati, Maharashtra, India. The ideal candidate will oversee the production and packaging of processed cheese, ensuring all forms of packed cheese meet targeted specifications and production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day cheese production processes, ensuring compliance with safety, quality standards, and recoveries.
- Monitor and maintain the efficiency of production lines, equipment, and staff to optimize cheese production output.
- Ensure adherence to all Health, Safety, and Sanitation standards, Operations SOPs, product quality standards, including HACCP and GMP protocols.
- Analyze product non-conformances, suggest and implement corrective actions in consultation with team members and supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of personnel, equipment, and the section as per set standards during operations.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP standards, operating procedures, and hygienic requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections of the production area to identify and mitigate risks.
- Account for finished goods, rework, overfill, and scrap generated during the shift.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, HR, and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues and optimize performance.
- Minimize product, packaging material, and utility losses, as well as rework inventory.
- Comply with Food Safety Management Systems.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dairy Technology or Dairy Science.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in production with proven leadership experience in a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to make quick business decisions while ensuring the success of the team.
- A strong desire to grow and take on new challenges and opportunities.
