About the Job
Job Summary:
Sweet Karam Coffee is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to ensure all products meet our high-quality standards and regulatory requirements. In this critical role, you will manage quality assurance processes, implement control measures, and drive continuous improvement across our production line. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain safety, quality, and consistency, thereby protecting our brand’s reputation in the FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Quality Standards: Establish, maintain, and enhance quality standards, procedures, and guidelines according to industry regulations and company policies.
Quality Assurance Management: Oversee inspections, audits, and testing of finished goods to ensure quality standards are met.
Team Leadership: Lead the quality control team by providing training, guidance, and support to ensure high performance.
Process Optimization: Identify production process improvements and collaborate with third-party teams to enhance product quality.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, food safety regulations, GMP, and HACCP guidelines.
Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet quality specifications.
Continuous Improvement: Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Customer Feedback Management: Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and report key quality metrics to senior management.
Training and Development: Develop training programs to promote a culture of quality.
Crisis Management: Handle quality-related crises, including product recalls, with minimal impact.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Control, or Food Technology. A master’s degree or certifications (e.g., ISO 22000, ISO 9001) is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, ideally within the food industry in the FMCG sector. Candidates not meeting this criteria, please do not apply.
Strong knowledge of quality control processes, regulatory standards, and compliance.
Proven experience leading quality teams and managing improvement projects.
Proficient in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
