Position: Officer – Purchase/Procurement
Location: Valsad, Gujarat
Education: Any Graduate or equivalent qualification.
CTC: Competitive, as per company standard.
Responsibilities:
- Research potential vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing to achieve favorable terms.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery to meet operational needs.
- Review the quality of purchased products to ma intain high standards.
- Enter order details into internal databases accurately.
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
- Proficiency in RFQ & SAP (MIGO/GRN) is required.
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses, for management review.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to avoid shortages.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and handling of inventory.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends by attending trade shows and exhibitions.
- Must excel in MS Excel and related modules to analyze data effectively.
