Position Overview: As a Shift In-charge (Continuous Process), your role will focus on ensuring smooth and efficient plant operations during your shift. This includes overseeing manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements, and maintaining cost controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control plant operations to ensure smooth manufacturing processes.
- Maintain shift logbooks and reports, and prepare daily production and commercial reports.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and safety protocols.
- Comply with ISO 9000, ISO 14000, OHSAS 18000, TPM, and WCM standards.
- Allocate tasks to technicians and monitor their performance.
- Lead safety efforts, ensuring safety of personnel and machinery.
- Train and develop team members.
- Oversee the implementation of 5S in the plant.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.E / B. Tech in Chemical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in continuous chemical processes.
- Knowledge of operations involving pumps, compressors, blowers, safety valves, and control valves.
- Experience with DCS/PLC-based control systems.
- Familiarity with WCM, TPM, and TQM concepts.
- Strong adherence to quality and safety norms.
