Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Head to lead our confectionery and snacks manufacturing facility at Tronica city, Ghaziabad.
As the Plant Head, you
will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and maintenence.
Your strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills will be instrumental in achieving production targets and driving the growth of our company.
Responsibilities :-

Team Leadership:
Build and lead a competent and motivated production team, fostering a positive work culture and high morale.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching and mentoring, and identify opportunities for employee growth and development.
Safety and Compliance :-

Uphold and enforce safety protocols and best practices throughout the plant to ensurea safe working environment for all employees.
Comply with all relevant legal and regulatory standards set out but FSSAI, weights and measures, PCB etc.
Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to enhance production reduce waste, and improve overall processes, efficiency.
Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to drive productivity gains.
Equipment and Maintenance :-

Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and disruptions in production.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
Inventory Management:

Work closely with the Supply Chain team to manage raw material and finished goods inventory levels efficiently.
Monitor inventory turnover and implement strategies to optimize stock levels.
Cost Control:

Analyze production costs and implement measures to
control expenses without compromising quality and safety.
Optimize production processes to minimize waste and maximize resource utilization.
Communication and Reporting :-

Report regularly to senior management on production
performance, key metrics, and any significant challenges or achievements.
Foster clear and effective communication channels
between production staff, departments, and management.
Requirements :-

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in a leadership
role within the confectionery and snacks manufacturing industry.
In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards in food manufacturing.
Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make data-driven decisions.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to
collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
