Description:
Take the lead in Supplier Quality Assurance, ensuring compliance, problem-solving, and technical support within the assigned area. Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Product Lifecycle & Strategies, and Suppliers to guarantee products meet internal and external standards.
Responsibilities:
- Review and enhance the supplier quality assurance program aligned with business needs.
- Establish an audit process, ensuring continuous improvement and addressing gaps with vendors.
- Conduct audits for raw materials, packaging, service providers, distribution, and warehouses, ensuring compliance with regulatory and food safety standards.
- Develop KPIs, conduct plan reviews, and organize Supplier Meets for ongoing improvement and partnership.
- Support internal audits for plants and warehouses to ensure system compliance and process enhancement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food/Dairy Science, Microbiology, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, specifically in Dairy/Food Manufacturing.
- Proficiency in food manufacturing, strong communication skills, technical knowledge of assigned suppliers, and competence in computer and process excellence tools.
- Subject-matter expertise in HACCP, food safety risk assessment, and performance skills (accuracy, planning, organizing, efficiency).
- Good understanding of processes, willingness to learn, and awareness of product and process risks.
- Leadership skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders, strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, and customer orientation.
