Qualifications:
- Post Graduate caliber or equivalent, preferably in Chemistry/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Bio-technology/Food technology/DIFAT.
- 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Systems in Food Processing/FMCG.
Skills and Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems.
- Hands-on experience in developing and controlling quality-related SOPs.
- Proven experience in quality improvement projects.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze raw materials, blends, and finished goods, reporting findings to the unit head.
- Inspect packaging materials and communicate non-conformities to vendors.
- Ensure online quality control during production processes.
- Coordinate with other departments to address rejection failures.
- Calibrate lab equipment and manage operations as per supplier manual.
- Analyze samples for customer/consumer complaints and provide reports.
- Standardize chemical reagents and calibration for lab.
- Use tools to analyze non-conformities and implement CAPA when necessary.
- Assist quality manager in preparing MIS reports for submission to the unit head.
