GEOFAST INDUSTRIES INDIA: Quality Assurance
Location: GEOFAST INDUSTRIES INDIA LTD, INDORE
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, or related science courses.
Experience: Minimum 6-8 years of experience in the food industry as an online quality control/quality assurance resource, with FSMS team leader experience. Experience in the bakery industry is preferable. Must have experience in preparing and implementing FSSAI/HACCP/FSMS in a food processing facility.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure FSSAI license is updated and valid.
- Implement and maintain FSSC system and GMP standards.
- Track and maintain evaluation metrics, and monitor the cost of poor quality and hold incidents.
- Take proactive measures to reduce wastage and product recalls.
- Monitor customer and consumer complaints, conduct detailed root cause analysis, and develop mitigation plans for genuine complaints.
- Review RFT (Right First Time) on a monthly basis and implement necessary continuous improvement plans for failures.
- Coordinate external lab testing and environmental monitoring, and execute necessary actions based on results.
- Possess knowledge of HACCP, food safety management systems, and GMP guidelines, with auditing skills.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. Be a creative and effective problem solver with sound judgment and unquestionable integrity.
- Conduct training and capability building sessions on GMP, food safety, and quality requirements.
