About the Role: HMJ FOODS LLP is seeking a Factory Head to lead and manage day-to-day operations in a dynamic food production environment. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with expertise in operations management, supply chain, quality control, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily production planning alongside the GM Operations and ensure effective coordination between stores, production, and dispatch.
Ensure timely and accurate communication with customers as needed, including feedback on production status.
Maintain and monitor food safety standards by ensuring that production is compliant with documentation and safety systems.
Uphold hygiene and housekeeping standards within the production area.
Maintain quality records and ensure segregation of conforming and non-conforming products.
Identify training needs for production personnel and conduct training as necessary.
Manage plant and machinery maintenance, including preventive measures.
Monitor and record quality parameters to ensure safe food production.
Take corrective actions on non-conforming products and food safety deviations.
Identify opportunities for production improvement, focusing on food safety and quality.
Control and coordinate work orders, production planning, and delivery schedules.
Ensure transport security and timely delivery of products to suppliers.
Oversee packaging material design, artwork, and product approval processes in alignment with customer specifications.
