Depot In-Charge Position at Dukes – Hyderabad
Are you a seasoned professional with 5-8 years of experience in the FMCG food industry? Dukes, a leading player in the field, is currently seeking a Depot In-Charge for our Hyderabad headquarters.
About the Role:
As the Depot In-Charge, you will be responsible for overseeing depot operations, including inbound and outbound processes, inventory management, floor productivity, and quality assurance. Your role will involve scheduling and supervising the depot team to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity while minimizing overtime. Additionally, you will be tasked with training and managing the team to address day-to-day operational issues and achieve short and long-term performance goals. You will also oversee daily operations, manage inven tory and logistics, and ensure the implementation of FIFO & FMFO systems in the depot. Supporting the development of the operational team through coaching and mentoring will be a key aspect of your role. Moreover, you will be involved in managing, motivating, hiring, training, and continually developing the warehouse team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred)
- 5-8 years of experience in the FMCG food industry
- Experience managing depot operations, including inbound/outbound processes, inventory management, and quality assurance
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good understanding of MIS & Email systems
- Experience handling a team size of 35+ members
- Ability to investigate stock discrepancies and report findings to relevant stakeholders
