About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Associate Quality Officer to oversee the overall quality parameters of our products at Schreiber Foods. You will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards in product quality and compliance with customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set product specifications in line with customer requirements.
- Review HACCP plan with the HACCP team leader for all products.
- Regularly review systems, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with process changes, standards, statutory regulations, and customer expectations.
- Perform sensory evaluations and shelf life analysis of UHT products.
- Ensure all processes adhere to specified conditions.
- Coordinate with production teams in case of deviations in product quality.
- Conduct proficiency tests for all analysts.
- Review and analyze customer complaints to drive improvements.
- Hold products until all required tests are completed.
- Implement inspection and test plans (ITP) and SOPs.
- Evaluate work in progress and give condition release prior to inspection and testing.
- Assess and identify training needs for subordinates, coordinating with the training coordinator for effective training.
- Participate in customer audits and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Provide data to customers as required and comply with food safety and quality systems.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.Tech, M.Sc, or B.Sc. in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Chemistry, or Microbiology.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance.
