Vegrow is looking for an experienced Assistant Quality Manager to lead end-to-end quality operations across farm, harvesting, packing, cold storage, dispatch, and customer quality.

- B.Sc. Agriculture / Horticulture
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology / Food Science & Technology

Candidate Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Banana / Fresh Produce / Agriculture Quality
- Strong field and operational quality experience
- Knowledge of banana pre- & post-harvest quality and export operations preferred
- Strong leadership and team-handling skills
- Marathi & Hindi – Mandatory
- English – Good communication skills
- Willingness to travel across regions
Key Responsibilities
- Manage farm and cold-storage quality operations across assigned regions
- Own banana quality from Farm → Harvesting → Packing → Dispatch → Customer
- Conduct farm evaluations, line audits, harvesting quality checks and compliance audits
- Manage cold-storage QC, ageing, shelf-life and dispatch quality
- Lead QC Executives and Farm/Line Auditors
- Plan and conduct shelf-life, packaging, liner and post-harvest trials
- Conduct farm, process, cold-storage, fruit and non-fruit inventory audits
- Ensure quality-based inventory management and strict FIFO
- Analyse customer complaints, conduct RCA and drive corrective actions
- Prepare quality reports, dashboards and management presentations
- Use Google Workspace, Excel, data-analysis and AI tools effectively
- Take timely decisions during critical operational situations
