Job Description:
Unilever is seeking a talented R&D Executive – Statistician to join our Clinical Biostatistics team in Unilever R&D Bangalore. The Clinical Biostatistics group plays a crucial role in providing statistical leadership across Beauty & Wellbeing and Personal Care Clinical Programs.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Statistics/Biostatistics preferred
3-6 years of experience in research or FMCG/Pharmaceutical industries
Proficiency in SAS and R
Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities:

Collaborate globally to design and implement statistically sound studies
Engage in interdisciplinary teams for efficient study execution and data analysis
Provide statistical expertise across R&D disciplines
Ensure high-quality statistical programming deliverables
Conduct exploratory data analyses and reporting
Adhere to SOPs and guidance documents

Key Accountabilities:

Design and review study protocols and documents

Perform sample size calculations and develop statistical analysis plans
Design randomization plans and ensure accuracy of data sets
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for thorough data review
Plan and execute statistical analyses, providing decision-making insights
Act as a secondary contact across multiple research areas

Skills /Experience / Qualifications:

Knowledge of applying statistics in scientific research
Technical expertise in data management, visualization, and statistical analysis techniques
Proficiency in SAS programming and R programming/R Shiny
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration in global teams
