Job Description:
Unilever is seeking a talented R&D Executive – Statistician to join our Clinical Biostatistics team in Unilever R&D Bangalore. The Clinical Biostatistics group plays a crucial role in providing statistical leadership across Beauty & Wellbeing and Personal Care Clinical Programs.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Statistics/Biostatistics preferred
- 3-6 years of experience in research or FMCG/Pharmaceutical industries
- Proficiency in SAS and R
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate globally to design and implement statistically sound studies
- Engage in interdisciplinary teams for efficient study execution and data analysis
- Provide statistical expertise across R&D disciplines
- Ensure high-quality statistical programming deliverables
- Conduct exploratory data analyses and reporting
- Adhere to SOPs and guidance documents
Key Accountabilities:
- Design and review study protocols and documents
- Perform sample size calculations and develop statistical analysis plans
- Design randomization plans and ensure accuracy of data sets
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for thorough data review
- Plan and execute statistical analyses, providing decision-making insights
- Act as a secondary contact across multiple research areas
Skills /Experience / Qualifications:
- Knowledge of applying statistics in scientific research
- Technical expertise in data management, visualization, and statistical analysis techniques
- Proficiency in SAS programming and R programming/R Shiny
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration in global teams
