Vacancy for Production Officer in Britannia India
We are in search of a highly motivated and experienced “Production Officer” to become a valuable addition to our Cake division team.
Position: Production Officer (Cake)
Educational Qualification: Engineer graduate/Food Technologist/MSc Food Science/MSc Chemistry
Experience: 5 to 8 years in the FMCG industry, specifically in Cake/Bakery/Food Manufacturing.
Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from 6 to 8 LPA.
Location: Ranjangoan, Pune
Desired Competencies: Essential knowledge of Cake and Bakery Manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set process parameters according to product variety and prepare necessary materials.
- Collect and record data for Total Quality Management (TQM), including control chart management.
- Maximize production output while staying within budgeted levels by controlling changeover time, manufacturing defects, and downtime.
- Efficiently allocate manpower to ensure maximum efficiency and output, including payroll management for incentives.
- Verify adherence to standard procedures for controlling weight, gauge, size, color, and product appearance.
- Continuously monitor raw material variances.
- Physically verify equipment like SIEVE, METAL DETECTOR, and WEBS while maintaining required documentation standards (ISO, HACCP, and FCC formats).
- Ensure recipes align with standard parameters for variety and preparatory items.
- Properly adjust variables like AMMONIA, S.M.B.S, WATER, and OVEN PROFILE to meet quality standards.
- Monitor material usage based on manufacturing date and LOT NO.
- Maintain the biscuit grinder room, ensuring dust availability and traceability record updates.
- Focus on ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS and implement CORRECTIVE and PREVENTIVE ACTIONS as per F.B.C.
- Manage various audits, including AIB, ISO, Legal, FSSAI, etc.
- Reduce wastages resulting from mechanical breakdowns.
- Ensure hygiene standards across all areas.
