Position : Assistant Manager (NPD / R & D: Ice-cream / Dairy)
Location : Pune (Shirwal)
Qualification : B Tech/ M.Tech/ M.Sc. (Dairy/ Food
technology)
Experience : 5+ years of NPD/ R&D experience, in
Ice-cream/ Dairy industry
Responsibility :
Manage projects According to needs specified in SOP
Manual for R&D.
Act as R&D representative within each project team & ensure project follow up with the R&D project management tools.
Develop formulations & processes while taking into
account requirements of other functions such as
Regulatory & Quality.
Design pilot trials, organize tasting sessions with
Marketing, & draw conclusions & recommendations for next steps.
Participate in consumer test design, organize sample production & ensure product quality follow up.
Realize scale up / industrialization with Engineering & Manufacturing departments.
Collaborate & develop the suppliers to obtain best results for product development.
Participate as an R&D representative for product launch/start up by preparing all specifications related to product line& ensure that all documentation needed is available prior to start up.
Propose & implement productivity projects for their
product line.
Training/development of Research Technologists.
Desired Profile Strong project management/organization skills
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Ability to work cross-functionally & able to train staff.
Proficient in computer skills
