About the Job:
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Executive for Quality Assurance (QA) to join our team at Third Wave Coffee. This position requires a strong commitment to ensuring food safety, quality standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure full compliance with FSSAI regulations and relevant food safety standards.
Review and improve existing policies, implementing necessary changes.
Oversee product development procedures and identify any deviations from quality standards.
Implement and document FSMS (ISO 22000:2018/FSSC 22000) to ensure audit compliance.
Develop and implement initiatives to enhance quality and food safety systems across India.
Conduct supplier, warehouse, and store audits as per defined frequency.
Monitor sanitation and housekeeping procedures in stores.
Conduct training on food safety for all partners.
Analyze customer complaints, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure microbiological and chemical analysis is performed on raw materials and finished products as per FSSAI guidelines.
Upgrade systems and business standards to meet ISO and FSSAI requirements.
Submit monthly QA reports to management on performance.
Identify weaknesses, recommend improvements, and ensure implementation.
Requirements:
A science graduate or postgraduate in food science or microbiology.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in food safety and quality assurance.
In-depth knowledge of food safety, Legal Metrology, FSSAI, and Codex.
FOSTAC certification in Catering/Retail/Manufacturing.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Certified Internal Auditor (HACCP/ISO/FSSC/BRC).
