Key Responsibilities:

Tea Production:

Operate and monitor tea processing machinery, including withering, rolling, oxidation, drying, packaging, and dispatching.

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for each stage of tea production.

Quality Control:

Conduct regular quality checks to ensure tea products meet established standards.

Identify and address any deviations from quality specifications.

Machine Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.

Report any malfunctions or equipment issues promptly to the maintenance staff.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in all aspects of tea processing.

Report and address any safety concerns or hazards.

Hygiene and Sanitation:

Maintain cleanliness in the production area and equipment.

Follow proper sanitation procedures to ensure the production of safe and hygienic tea products.

Adjustment and Calibration:

Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed to optimize production efficiency.

Calibrate equipment to maintain product consistency.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, production volumes, and quality control measures.

Provide production reports as required.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with other production team members to ensure smooth workflow.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team leaders.

Training:

Participate in training programs to stay updated on machinery operation techniques.

Assist in training new team members as needed.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.

Provide feedback on equipment performance and suggest improvements.

Tea Maker / Factory Officer

Qualifications:

UG, diploma, or equivalent. Additional technical or vocational training in tea processing or related fields is a plus.

Previous experience in a tea manufacturing or production role, preferably in the food or beverage industry.

Knowledge of tea processing techniques and machinery operation.

Ability to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment.

Understanding of safety and hygiene standards in a manufacturing environment.

Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining product quality.

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Physical stamina to perform tasks in a production environment.

Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced setting.

Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is advantageous.
